Jane Brydon is a local, certified professional dog trainer who believes that, "Dog training is not about punishment… It’s about reward!"

For over 25 years, her “family” has included dogs of all shapes, breeds, sizes – and behavioral problems. Wanting to make her home a welcoming place for friends, as well as her pets, she researched and experimented with just about every type of dog training program available. In the process she made an amazing discovery - Positive, reward-based training works!

She has worked with animals in a wide variety of educational and research settings: The Philadelphia Zoo, Schuylkill Valley Nature Center, and the Jersey Wildlife Preservation Trust to name a few.

Jane holds a B.A. degree in Animal Behavior from Beaver College (now Arcadia University), a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Pennsylvania, and a second Master’s Degree in Psycho Educational Processes from Temple University. She holds credentials in the following organizations

  • A Supporting Member of International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants
