Please join Braxton’s Animal Works on Saturday, April 6th as they support an exhibit hosted by the Wayne Art Center entitled Reigning Cats and Dogs. This is a juried exhibition of original companion animal works in drawing, painting, pastel, mixed media, ceramics, sculpture, printmaking, glass and fiber. Reigning Cats and Dogs will also feature an exhibition of companion animal photography. The exhibition will be open to the public April 6 through May 4, 2013.
To kick off the event, there will be a WOOF WOOF…MEOW!! Pet Fair & Vendor Day Saturday, April 6th 10AM-3PM. Braxton’s will have a table along with many other pet suppliers and craft artisans. There will be fun and games for children ages 4 and up including:

- Dog & Cat Cookie Decorating (4 & up): Decorate 2-3 animal shaped cookies with a variety of icings and candies, and package with a ribbon to take home, or give as a gift to the animal lover in your life!
- Decorative Pet Treat Jar (4 & up): Take a recycled glass jar and turn it into a beautiful treat jar to pamper your pet!
- Pet Photo Frame (5 & up): Take a simple wooden frame and transform it into a unique work of art, worthy of a photo of your pet!
A portion of the proceeds will benefit Mainline Animal Rescue and some special guests will be on hand to answer your questions about pet adoptions through Mainline Animal Rescue.
So mark your calendar and stop by Braxton’s table on Saturday, April 6th at the Wayne Art Center. Look forward to seeing you there.
