This review is being written in part, by our two beagles, JP and Penny.
We moved back to the area five years ago and always love to support a small business. Everyone single person we asked, suggested Braxton's Animal Works as the place to go to get "the good stuff"
Braxton's has the trifecta when it comes to customer service, quality items and good prices. They also have a huge variety of everything, (and we mean everything!)
The Braxton's team is always happy to see us and offers great suggestions for both new pet owners and those that need something unique. Dog can't eat corn? Braxton's has 10+ types of kibble to fit that need. Dog is bored at home? Have you seen their wall of toys and puzzles? Get sprayed by a skunk? There's another section full of shampoos, creams and the like.
Braxton's offers dog washing facilities and has even started a nail cutting business made possible by listening to customer's requests.
The most important thing about Braxton's, is you can tell that the Braxton's team is happy to be there and happy to help. They encourage well-behaved dogs in their store and there are sniffs aplenty!
They are our rainy day fun spot, our favorite place to get a special treat and they give out treats and rubs with love. Come by for your special event photos and make your humans happy! There's a football set up for the fall, an ice cream social in the summer, a Valentines Day kissing booth and during the holidays, most weekends in December have photo ops with Santa to support local dog rescues. Did I mention the free treats?
Sign up for their Pet Gazette. It's a monthly email that tells you about new products and there's usually a coupon too.
In addition to being the place for dogs, they have separate sections for cats and birds. We also forgot to mention they also carry beds, bowls and foul weather gear.
JP loves Braxton's for the aisle of special smelly things, (tracheas, pig ears and smoked marrow bones). Penny loves running up the stairs and sniffing out the kitty cat. Both are sorry that they had accidents, but we blame that on the biped.
Braxton's is a family owned business and is a Main Line staple, (They've even appeared in a few books).
We love Braxton's and know you will too!
